Paul Stoddard- ScoreKeeper

Paul has brought the digital revolution to this dance revolution! This is Paul’s second year as scorekeeper at BTP, we’ll once again be scoring on iPads, using Paul’s system. Less manual work means faster results means quicker competitions means more time dancing!

Everyone wins!

Paul is a Co-Director of Big Apple Country Dance Festival and with his background in software development has created a digital scorekeeping program/business (net2order) that works to calculate relative placement almost instantaneously once the judges have completed scoring.

Paul is one of those people who excel at keeping every thing running behind the scenes. He makes the rest of us look really good. Like many of those people, Paul is camera shy. We don’t believe there is actually any existing photographic evidence of Paul’s existence. But if you look to the right of the dance floor during comps, you will see him hard at work making his magic happen for us all!

We thought since we have no photograph, we would give Paul our score for his work at Tea Party…
