Which Level to Register For?

If you are registering for a West Coast Swing competition, you should register for the level you have achieved in the points registry. With the updated rules, if you have pointed out of a division, you must advance regardless of whether or not you have achieved a first place win.  If you believe you should be competing at a different level you can fill out a petition at the registration desk and the head judge will meet with you to determine the best course of action.  Please note that if you chose to register for a division that you are not supposed to be in and you have not petitioned, you will not receive points for you competition.

If you are registering for Lindy Hop or Balboa, you should rely on feedback from teachers and partners to judge the best level  to compete in.
